Cancel pipeline run

/platform/pipeline/:pipelineId/pipeline_run/:runId/cancel

Cancel an execution using both pipelineId and runId. Check the run first: source guidance allows cancellation only for RUNNING. Terminal SUCCESS, FAILED or CANCELLED states produce a documented 409 conflict.

airflow_status indicates whether Airflow processed the request; detail describes the result. Missing runs are documented as 404. Source 500 examples include msg and error but are not enumerated in the imported response map.

Check run status after cancellation rather than assuming the request alone proves completion. Use Execute pipeline for an intentional retry. Cancelling one run does not replace pausing future schedules.
